I.D.E.A.S. NETWORK LAUNCHES —   Join our “MEET-UP” group.

Creative Indiana  partnered with THE VENUE to launch our first fall I.D.E.A.S. NETWORK.  We had a very enthusiastic group thatbegan the evening networking with each other about which items in the gallery attracted them the most and why; how they use their own creativity to deal with difficult situations and how; and ideas for ways that The Venue can attract new visitors to their gallery.  Continued  networking with other creativity seekers and innovation enthusiasts ran beyond the 7:30 end time participants were so engaged in conversation.

A network to build understanding, appreciation and expertise for using creativity. These networks are dedicated to creating a ‘space’ for identifying common opportunities and solving challenges. IDEAS Networks will help participants Initiate ideas, Develop them, Evaluate them, Activate them and Sustain them. The purpose is to network with other creativity seekers or enthusiasts. Guests include advocates for creativity and innovation along with anyone tired of the same old ineffective answers in business, education, community or personal challenges.

IDEAS Network will have two components: gaining competency in creative process and using ingenuity to provide new insights and ideas to meet needs. Both participants and sponsors benefit from the Network which will be held at various locations on a regular basis. Different concepts or tools will be introduced to lead participants to unique, useful and immediate results, all the while networking and having fun.

Creative thinking and problem solving are essential and critical resources to solve global and community issues.  There are national and international movements to bring imagination, creative thinking, problem solving and innovation to bear on complex societal issues and opportunities. Creative Indiana seeks to be a leader in these efforts. Creative Indiana’s purpose is to “Unleash the Power of Creativity in Community, Education and Business through Programming, Training and Dialogue.”

Creative Indiana works in collaboration with similar organizations elsewhere including Centric in Indiana, the National Creativity Network, Creative Oklahoma, Creative New Jersey, and Creative Alberta, American Creativity Association, Creative Education Foundation, Creative Problem Solving Institute and International Center for Studies in Creativity.
