Dear Bloomington Entrepreneurs at Heart:                                                                     July 2, 2014

“Business Idea Exchange Table”

Learn more about Entrepreneur Igniters at the July 16th Bloomington Chamber BBQ @ the Airport

Several of us have been reflecting on how to increase the “Business Energy” of Bloomington.  For sure we are blessed with a great University and the benefits of having had Bill Cook make Bloomington his home.  But we can also sense many people are still struggling to find work and advance.

Chattanooga, TN is a prime example of a community that moved forward using the power of their imaginative minds to generate new and better options for their community.  In 1969 an imaginative Creative Visioning group formed in Chattanooga – it has brought in $800 Billion in investment over a 35 year period, PLUS untold business development.  (As per Chattanooga, TN Chamber of Commerce documentation.)

How can Bloomington use a similar creative visioning process to aid hopeful entrepreneurs?

July 16th Business Idea Exchange (BIE) Table:  If this concept peaks your interest let us know how you’d like to be involved.  Consider joining us in encouraging the ideas of others and/or finding new business opportunities.  Stop by the “Business Idea Exchange Table” at the Bloomington Chamber of Commerce “Primetime Business After Hours & BBQ Cook-Off”
